CIRCULAR
The undersigned is directed to say
that the issue regarding monetary limit of reimbursement for purchase of
brief-cases etc. by the officers of the Directorate General of Foreign Trade,
Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has been considered
in consultation with the Internal Finance Division. It has been decided to limit the amount of
reimbursement for purchase of brief-case etc. to the officers as follows:

2. The reimbursement will be admissible once
in three years reckoned from the date of the purchase.
3. The officer seeking reimbursement shall
have to produce item so purchased to the Directorate for verification and
submit the bill in original along with a forwarding note certifying purchase of
the said item.
