TENDER NOTICE

 

Subject: Award of contract for supply of CISCO Network items.

******

          The office of Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) proposes to enter into as contract for procurement of above mentioned items. Copy of the terms and conditions of the contract is enclosed.

 

2.       Interested parties /firms are requested to quote their rates for the above contract along with company’s profile.

 

3.       The quotations may be sent so as to reach the undersigned (Room. No. 302) or Shri  B.K. Sachdeva, FTDO(Room No.202) latest by 01.10.2008 upto 4.00 PM alongwith earnest money of Rs.1,25,000/- (Rupees one Lakh Twenty Five Thousand only) in the form of Bank Draft issued in favour of DGFT, New Delhi, with the following superscribed on the top of the sealed envelop “QUOTATION FOR SUPPLY OF NETWORK ITEMS.” The quotation may also be sent by registered post so as to reach the undelivered by time & date indicate. For any postal delay, this Directorate shall not be responsible. The quotation shall be opened in Room No. 104, Udyog Bhawan, New Delhi – 110011 at 4.00 PM on same day. Any tenderer or his/her authorized representative may be present at the time of opening of tenders.

4.       Quotations received thereafter shall not be considered.

TERMS & CONDITION FOR PROCUREMENT OF NETWORK ITEMS

 

1.     The specification of CISCO NETWORK ITEMS is as follows:

(i)                Access Router (2 serial Port, 2 Lan 10/100 TX 1 ISDN, and Qos enabled with Support : IPVA4, IPV6 and MLPS VPN functionality, ppp, DHCP server, access controls on the data plane for both ingress and egress traffic. Support IEEE 802. (11a/b/g, 1x, 3x, 1p, 1q etc.)

Support Qos, ACL, MLPPPSecurity – Firewall, AES, IDS, DMVPN, RADIUS, SSL VPN, SSH, AAA features, NTP

(ii)              L2 Switch (24 10/100 with 2 10/100/1000 uplink of Copper) Support IEEE 802, (1x, 1q, 1w,1d,1p, etc.), IGMPv3, VLAN>30, Full Duplex, Support Qos Backplane Capacity>8Gbps

2.     The firm will have to  supply one item each at 20 locations, as given in the list at Annexure-A, with in a period of 15 days from the date of issue of purchase order by this office.

3.     Before Supply of these items to different offices of this Directorate, the firm will get these items inspected from an NIC officer at DGFT(Hqr.) at New Delhi. Then these items would be packed in bundles for different locations on which seal would be put on by two officers of DGFT/NIC.

4.     During the warranty period, the firm shall provide on-site maintenance within 24 hours of registering a complaint with the firm. A list of telephone/mobile numbers for 20 different locations shall be provided by the firm.

5.     The quotation should clearly indicate cost of items and the taxes to be borne by this office. The cost should be inclusive of all charges including delivery, transit insurance etc., if any.

6.0 The firm giving tender should meet the following eligibility criteria:-

6.1 It must be in the business of supplying items of computer hardware at least for three years. A self attested copy of registration / Incorporation Certificate may be supplied.

6.2 It should be registered for sales Tax / VAT. A self attested copy of

Registration Certificate should be attached.

6.3 The firm should have an annual turnover of more then Rs. 3.00 crores. A certified copy of last profit & loss A/C and balance sheet by a chartered Accountant should be furnished.

6.4The firm should have executed an order of value of Rs.15.00 lakhs or more from a Govt. Deptt. / PSU during last 2 years. A self attested copy of proof in this regard to be enclosed.

6.5 The firm should furnish following certificates “it is certified that the firm M/s.………………… has not been blacklisted by any Govt. Organisation / D.G.S & D/ NCCF/Kendriya Bhandar during last three years.”

6.     Warranty period shall be three years.

7.     TDS will be deducted as source as per Rules.

8.     No advance payment in any case will be made. Payment will be made after reports about delivery of goods in good condition are received from different offices.

9.     A Bank guarantee equal to 5% value of goods will be provided by the supplier who is awarded with the contract for a period of 38 months from the date goods are dispatched to different offices.
