Subject:- Disposal of unserviceable furniture and Misc. items – Quotation reg.

Sir,

This Directorate invites sealed quotations for the disposal of unserviceable furniture and Misc. items. The terms and conditions for the disposal/sale are given below :-

a) The quotation should be in the consolidated for all the items constituting a single lot. The list of items can be had from the General Section of this Directorate- Room No. 202, Udyog Bhavan, Gate No. 2, New Delhi and the items shown in the list can be inspected on any working day between 2.00PM to 4.00PM.

b) The quotations should reach the undersigned with draft of any bank worth Rs. 5,000/- (Rs. Five thousands only) pertaining to earnest money and drawn in favour of DGFT, New Delhi on or before 30.8.2005 by 5.00 PM. On envelop containing quotation it should be clearly written “QUTOATION FOR DISPOSAL OF UNSERVICEABLE FURNITURE & MISC. ITEMS”. The quotations without bank draft for earnest money will straight way will be rejected.

c) The highest bidder subject to the approval of the competent authority of this Deptt. will be required to deposit the money offered by him towards sale proceeds immediately on the same day or next working day through bank draft drawn in favour of DGFT, New Delhi.

d) The quotations will be opened before the Committee constituted for this purpose.

e) The unserviceable furniture and Misc. items shall be removed by the successful bidder on the same day the money is deposited by him. No guarantee for the worthiness of the items for disposal will be given and its clearance will be “AS IS WHERE IS BASIS”.

f) This office reserve the right to reject any bid without assigning any reasons.
