TENDER NOTICE
Subject:-
Award of contract for supply of all type of batteries for inverters and UPS
(Make EXIDE) for the period up to 31.3.2006.
This office
proposes to enter into Contract for supply of all type of batteries for
inverters and UPS (Make EXIDE) for the period up to 31.3.2006 as and when
required basis.
2. The copy of the terms and conditions of the Contract can be
collected from the General Section, Room No. 202, Udyog Bhavan, New Delhi on
any working days between 10.00 AM to 4.30 PM.
3. Interested parties/firms are requested to quote their rates
for the above contract with the details of supply of all type of batteries
done/being done in other offices.
4. The quotations may be sent so as to reach the undersigned
latest by 28.10.2005 upto 4.30 PM alongwith earnest money of Rs. 5,000/-
(Rs. Five thousand only) in the form of Bank Draft issued in favour of DGFT,
New Delhi, with the following superscribed on the top of the sealed envelop “QUOTATION
FOR CONTRACT FOR SUPPLY OF ALL TYPE OF INVERTER/UPS BATTERIES”.
5. Quotations
received thereafter will not be considered.

TERMS &
CONDITIONS FOR THE CONTRACT FOR SUPPLY OF ALL TYPE OF BATTERIES (MAKE EXIDE)
FOR A PERIOD UPTO 31.3.2006
1.
The
currency of the contract will be valid for a period up to 31.3.2006.
2.
The rates
should be including cost and installation of battery to inverter or UPS as and
when required.
3.
The supply
of all type of battery/batteries (Make EXIDE) will be made to General Section
along with the bill and no transport charges will be paid.
4.
If
any battery/batteries found defective. The
same will be replaced by the firm on the same day.
5.
It
shall be the responsibility of the firm to supply the battery/batteries (specific
model) within 24 hours of the order (even placed on telephone), even on
holidays, if required. In case any
damage is found compensation will have to be provided by the firm.
6.
The copy
of Registration certificate and copy of latest Income Tax should be enclosed.
7.
TDS
will be deducted at source as per rules.
8.
In
case, the firm backing out in the midstream without any explicit consent of
this department, it will be liable to the recovery of the higher rate which may
have to be incurred by this department on supply of battery/batteries. The earnest
money will be forfeited. The firm would
also be debarred from participating in future tenders of the department.
9.
The
contractor has to replace damaged/malfunctioning battery/batteries where ever
required.
10.
Department
reserves the right to cancel the contract any time during the currency of the
contract without giving any reason, whatsoever if the services provided by the
firm are found to be unsatisfactory.
11.
No
advance payment in any case would be made.
12.
The
earnest money of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand only) in the form of FDR in
favour of this office should be submitted to the department immediately.
