Subject:- Award of contract for lifting of old Newspapers,
Magazines and books of DGFT(HQ) on monthly basis.
Sealed quotations are
invited for the award of contract for lifting of old Newspapers, Magazines and
books of DGFT(HQ) on monthly basis on the following terms and conditions:-
(i)
The
contractor should lift the old Newspaper, magazines and books at the end of the first week of every month failing which the
contract will be terminated and earnest money will be forfeited.
(ii)
The contract
will be for one year from the date of award of contract subject to the
satisfactory service.
(iii)
The contract
will be on weight basis. The weight of
old newspapers, magazines and books will weighted in the presence of the
Committee. The amount of the same will have be
deposited on the same day before issue of
(iv)
No
transportation and labour will be provided by this
office.
(v)
The contract
will be as is where is basis. The gunny bags etc. will be arranged by the
contractor.
(vi)
The contract
will be awarded for a year. This office reserves its right to terminate the
same at any time without assigning any reason.
(vii)
At the time
of award of contract, the contractor will have to deposit an amount of Rs.
2,000/- (Rs. Two thousand only) in the form of FDR issued in the favour of this office as performance deposit which will be
refunded after the contract is over. In
case the services of the contractor is found
unsatisfactory, the earnest money will be forfeited and the contract will be
cancelled.
2.
Interested
parties may furnish their rates which will be valid for one year along with
earnest money of Rs. 1,000/- (Rs. One thousand only) in the form of Bank Draft
issued in favour of this office. The quotation should reach the undersigned in
a sealed cover on or before 22.3.2006 up to
