Suject:- Calling of quotation for Compactor
for Filing System for Record Room at
Sir,
The
Dte. General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) intends
to procure Compactor ( Approx. 220 Compactor). This Office invites quotations from desirous tenderers. The bid will be valid for a period of 1 (one)
year. The specifications of Compactor
items are given in the Annexure I attached to this schedule, which is a
part of this tender. The rates of the
compactor may be quoted as per items and specifications as under:-

The terms &
conditions on the basis of which the contract will be awarded are given below:
-
i)
Tenderes should indicate his annual turnover. It should be more than Rs.
2 Crore (Rs. Two crore only) per annum. A Certificate furnished by the
Chartered Accountat in this regard to be attached.
Preference will be given to the having ISO-9001 certification or any such
quality certification. A proof in this
regard to be attached..
ii)
Tenderer should have supplied such items to a Government Deptt./PSU in the past. 2 years (Self
attested copy of proof is to be attached)
iii)
Tenderer should have PAN allotted to him by the Income Tax
Department. (self attested photo copy of proof is to
be attached).
iv)
Tenderer should have
obtained Sales Tax/VAT Tax Certificates issued by the Govt. (self attested
photo copy of proof is to be attached).
v)
A self-certificate to
be given that the firm has not been blacklisted during last three years by any
Government organization.

The sealed Quotation should be superscribed clearly on Top of respective covers “Quotation
for Compactor), and rach shared Sh. Krishan Kumar,
Dy. DGFT Room No. 302 3rd Floor or Sh. B.K. Sachdeva,
F.T.D.O., Room No. 202,Udyog Bhavan, New Delhi-110011 by 4.00 P.M. on 15.02.2008. Quotation received after stipulated date/time
shall not be entertained.
4. Tenderer should make
quote his rate at F.O.R. destination basis at Jeeva
Vihar Building Record Room of D.G.F.T.,
5. The Tenderer/Firm should made available direct telephone (office as well as residence) and also mobile phone number of person concerned.
6. An earnest money of Rs.
50,000/- (Rs. fifty thousand only) has to be deposed
in the form of bank Draft drawn in favour DGFT
(CPAO),
7. Tenders may
please quote their unconditional rates strictly as per list of items enclosed.
Cutting/overwriting, if any, should be countersigned. The rates quoted should
include the cost of delivery and installation and should clearly indicate the
above taxes.
8.
The DGFT will not be bound to accept the lowest quotation and an order can be
placed on any other firm considered suitable for job. DGFT may also order for
more or less quantity as shown in the tender notice. The decision of the Department shall be final
in this regard.
9. The
DGFT reserves the right to accept or reject any tender in full or in part without assigning any reason
thereof and giving any compensation. The decision of the DGFT in this regard shall
be final and binding on the firm.
10. The firm may also please note repeat note
that installation would be required to be completed within 20 days of placing
order on the firm. If firm defaults in
installation, it will be liable to a penalty of Rs.5,000/-
per days for first 5 days and at the rate of Rs.10,000/- per day for the period
thereafter.
11. The tenders received shall be opened in the chamber of Sh. K.B. Roy, Jt. DGFT i.e.; Room No. 104 at 4.30 p.m. on 15.2.2008. Any tenderer or
his/her authorized representatives may be present at the time of opening of
tenders.

Annexure -I
Technical
Specifications of compactor is as under:-

DIMENSIONS The Compactor should be having height of 1980mm. width of 915mm and depth of 457mm. |

MATERIAL
The mobile system should made of cold rolled carbon steel (JIS G 3141 SPCC-SD) and should be Pre-coated. The panel should be made made of thichness of 0.8mm and loading capacity of 350kgs per bay. There should be four adjustable shelves. The thickness of the coating should be between 50-80 micron. The loading capacity per shelf level is maximum 75 kilograms. |

MECHANISM WITH NYLON WHEEL Every Movable unit should equipped with 4 units of 100mm diameter nylon wheel. Loading weight per nylon wheel is 200kg. |

ANTI-TOPPLE
MEASURE The anti-system shold be in the system to prevent the topping to act as a safety measure. |

RUBBER
STUD The
rubber should be there ito minimize noise emission
and prevent the scratches on closing and moving the respective bays. |

SHELF
CLIPS Loading
weight per unit should be 30 kgs. And it should be
having plating. |

HANDLES It should be plastic in composition for having good grip. |

8. |
DUAL
PURPOSE SHELF Shelf should be having thickness of 0.8mm with load carrying capacity of 70 Kgs. Per shelf should carry minimum of 11 box files and minimum of 25 hanging pocket files. It should be made up of cold rolled carbon steel with enamel finish. The profile of the shelves should be with folded edges to avoid injuries. |

BASE * Base structure should be 1.5mm thickness and the load carrying capacity of 700kg per base with ball bearings |

TRACK/PLATFORM/STOPPER There should be heavy duty track which whould be durable in nature. Platform should be of total thickness of 1.5mm steel panel with stiffner. Stopper should be provided to the track system ofor safety purpose. |
